We care for all domestic pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, reptiles, chinchillas, etc. If you have a pet that is not listed, just ask!
Absolutely! Your initial Get Acquainted Visit gives you the opportunity for you and your pets to meet your Angel Pet Sitter before your first visit.
For dogs, we do a minimum of three (3) visits per day and as many as four (4) visits per day. It really depends on your dog's needs, as we can also add in an overnight visit (9pm-7am). For cats, we do a minimum of one (1) visit, every day. We can do less visits on your arrival and departure days, depending on the time you leave and arrive home.
Angel Pet Sitting asks our clients to provide us with a two hour arrival window, which means your pet sitter will arrive in the 2 hour window you specify. Exceptions can be made for pets with special needs, senior pets or puppies.
Angel Pet Sitting’s first priority is the safety and security of our clients’ pets and home. Our employees go through a rigorous interview process, followed by criminal records checks, one-on-one comprehensive training with our manager and numerous supervised visits, before they begin caring for pets on their own. All of our Angel Pet Sitters are also trained in Pet First Aid/CPR through Pet Tech, every 2 years.
Yes, we are both bonded and insured through Kennel Pro. During your initial Get Acquainted Visit, your Angel Pet Sitter can show you our proof of insurance and bonding.
Angel Pet Sitting always makes our best effort to send the same pet sitter each time you book visits with us. However, if there is an emergency or your primary pet sitter is booked or is no longer with our company, we will send another Angel Pet Sitter in their place. You are always more than welcome to schedule a Get Acquainted Visit with the new sitter, if time allows. All of our pet sitters are dedicated, reliable and mature pet care professionals who we would feel comfortable caring for our pets, in our own home.
With Angel Pet Sitting, you are getting a professional company, excellent customer service, a team of experienced, trained & background checked sitters, and peace of mind that we are insured and bonded. Independent or "hobby" sitters on those sites most likely have no back-up in case they are sick, injured, or in an unexpected accident. What this means is that your pet won’t receive care if they are unable to provide it. Angel Pet Sitting not only provides you with an amazing team of professional pet sitters, but our office staff and manager also monitor all their day-to-day activity by being in constant communication with them. In addition, our Angel Pet Sitters are required to log-in to our online software at each visit, which tracks them via GPS.
We will do everything we can to accommodate your last minute reservation requests, although we cannot guarantee we will always have last minute availability. For visits booked with less than 2 complete business days notice, there is a $15 late booking fee. We book up quickly in the summer and on all major holidays, so please try to book in advance. During busy times, we can be booked 3-4 weeks in advance.
No. Please do not place our employees in the uncomfortable position of offering them employment apart from Angel Pet Sitting. Our sitters are contractually prohibited from soliciting or accepting employment directly from Angel Pet Sitting’s clients. Every pet sitter is our contracted employee and such behavior would breach their contract.
All reservations and schedule changes MUST be made in our scheduling software or by emailing the Angel Pet Sitting office. If you do not make reservations through the online software or office, then neither you nor the pet sitter will have the protection of the dishonesty bond, liability insurance, or our worker’s compensation coverage. Additionally, every pet sitter is our contracted employee and such behavior would breach their contract.
Treat our service as you would any other service. Pet sitters are thrilled to receive monetary appreciation for a superior effort. Some clients tip at Christmas, some a few dollars each visit. Nothing is ever expected, but it is certainly appreciated. Please leave all tips in cash for the pet sitter to pick up directly.
The only form of payment we accept are ACH Bank payments and Credit Cards. Visits will automatically be charged 3-5 days before your visits begin.
Yes! We do not disclose any client information to any third parties. Only the manager and your designated Angel Pet Sitter will have access to your personal information.
All Angel Pet Sitting clients will receive access to our online portal & scheduling software. In this portal, all clients will be required to accept our policy agreement. For a downloadable copy of our policies, please CLICK HERE. We ask our clients to update their profile in our software as it changes, so our Angel Pet Sitters have the most up-to-date information and instructions.
