Jean Brillman, Pet Tech First Aid/CPR Instructor and owner of Angel Pet Sitting, will be teaching a Pet First Aid & CPR Class on April 2nd in Willow Grove, PA.  April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month, which promotes the importance of basic pet first aid knowledge for pet owners.  According to the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), 25 percent more pets would survive if just one pet first aid technique were applied prior to getting emergency veterinary care.  Knowing what to do in the initial minutes of an accident or trauma can be critical to a pet’s life. Pet owners that are trained in pet first aid and CPR are better prepared to handle routine and life threatening emergencies.
